Bare metal maintenance includes restoring a bare metal node, starting to manage a bare metal node, placing a bare metal node in maintenance mode, removing a bare metal node from maintenance mode, destroying a bare metal instance, reclaiming a bare metal node, and deleting a bare metal node.
You can directly delete a bare metal node in error state.
To restore a bare metal node, start managing a bare metal node, place a bare metal node in maintenance state, remove a bare metal node from maintenance state, or reclaim a bare metal node:
On the top navigation bar, click Cloud O&M, and then select Infrastructure > Bare Metal Resource Pools from the left navigation pane.
Select a bare metal node, click Actions, and then select an action to take, for example Start Management.
In the dialog box that opens, click OK.
To destroy bare metal instances:
On the top navigation bar, click Cloud Services, and then select Compute & Storage > Bare Metal from the left navigation pane.
Select one or multiple bare metal instances, and then click Destroy.
In the dialog box that opens, click OK.
To delete bare metal nodes:
On the top navigation bar, click Cloud O&M, and then select Infrastructure > Bare Metal Resource Pools from the left navigation pane.
