H3C UIS Cloud provides an ultra-lightweight, low-cost cloud computing solution in conjunction with UIS Manager Standard Edition for small- and mid-sized enterprises. This platform unifies the management of cloud resources, services, operations, and assurance to provide infrastructure as a service (IaaS). In addition, it provides the extensibility to add AI, big data, and cloud computing capabilities.

UIS Cloud provides unified management of virtualized resource pools in heterogeneous virtualization platforms including UIS Manager, H3C CAS, and VMware vSphere. It enables assignment of pooled resources to tenants (for example, departments) or end users on a per-request basis. The resource assignment can be manual or automated depending on the configuration. Whichever method is used, users can quickly obtain resources to develop and provision IT applications to accommodate business growth.

UIS Cloud supports multitenancy and provides hierarchical role-based access control. To isolate tenants and enhance security in a multitenancy environment, you can deploy a private network for each tenant and deploy virtual firewalls and security groups on each private network.

UIS Cloud enables automated operations and resource usage metering. A support ticket system is available for users and administrators to open and process support tickets, respectively. A resource approval workflow system is available for management of resource requests and assignment. Workflow designing is supported to accommodate diversified requirements of enterprises.

UIS HCI systems that integrate UIS Cloud are available for easy deployment and accelerated service provisioning. These systems are fully validated before delivery. You can use them to deliver cloud services out of box.
