Create a disk flavor

Disk flavors include S-flavors and M-flavors. To use an S-flavor during cloud disk creation, you must add it to an M-flavor.

To create a disk flavor:

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Cloud O&M.

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Resource Flavors > Resource Flavors.

  1. Select Disk from the Service Type list.

  1. On the S-Flavors tab, click Create.

  1. Create CPU, memory, system disk, and storage type flavors as needed.

  1. Click OK.

Flavor Type

Select a flavor type:

  • Storage Type—Specifies the storage type, custom defined by users or general provided by the system.

  • Disk Size—Specifies the storage capacity of a cloud disk.

Custom Value

Set the flavor value.

For a disk size, the flavor value can be one of the following types:

  • Discrete—Sets a fixed size.

  • Continuous—Specifies a series of sizes in a range with a specific step. For example, if you set the value range to 10 to 20 and the step to 2, available disk sizes include 10 GB, 12 GB, 14 GB, 16 GB, 18 GB, and 20 GB.

 

  1. Click the M-Flavor tab.

  1. Click Create.

  1. Set the disk size and select a storage type.

  1. Click Create.
