· To destroy cloud hosts, a common user must submit a request. Once the request is approved, the system automatically destroys the cloud hosts. · A destroyed cloud host cannot be restored and services running on that cloud host will be interrupted. Please perform this task with caution. As a best practice, destroy a cloud host only when necessary and back up data before the operation. · Shutting down or restarting a cloud host terminates services running on the cloud host. Perform this task to synchronize the latest states of cloud hosts from the virtualization platform (for example, CVM or VCenter) to UIS Cloud.
If you suspend a VMware cloud host from UIS Cloud, power operations on the host executed from VCenter cannot be synchronized to UIS Cloud, and the restore operation might fail. As a best practice, do not perform any power operation from VCenter on a suspended cloud host. |
