Access a Linux cloud host

Access a Linux cloud host through an SSH tool by using the SSH password

  1. Open an SSH tool, enter the IP address in the format of ssh IP_address, and then press Enter.

  1. Enter the username. The default username is root.

  1. Select the password authentication method and enter the password.

Access a Linux cloud host through an SSH tool by using the SSH key

  1. Open an SSH tool, enter the IP address in the format of ssh IP_address, and then press Enter.

  1. Enter the username. The default username is root.

  1. Select the public key authentication method, browse to the key file, and enter the password.

Access a Linux cloud host through the console

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Cloud Services.

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Compute & Storage > Cloud Hosts.

  1. Click the Console icon  from the Action list of the target cloud host.

  1. Enter the password to access the operating system of the cloud host.
