Access a Windows cloud host

Access a Windows cloud host through the console

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Cloud Services, and then select Cloud Hosts from the Compute & Storage menu.

  1. (Optional.) If the password of the cloud host is generated by the system, click the name of the target cloud host, and then click the  icon in the Basic Info to view the initial password.

  1. Return to the cloud host list, and click the Console icon  from the Action list of the target cloud host.

  1. Enter the password to access the operating system of the cloud host.

Access a Windows cloud host through MSTSC

Restrictions and guidelines

To access a cloud host through MSTSC, make sure the local PC can reach the network where the cloud host resides.

At the first login through MSTSC, you must first enable remote connections on the PC from which you log into the cloud host. This section takes the first login as an example. At subsequent logins, you can start from step 4.

Procedure

  1. Access the console of the cloud host. For more information, see "Access a Windows cloud host through the console."

  1. Open the Start menu, click Control Panel. Then, click System and click Remote Settings.

  1. Click the Remote tab, select Allow Remote Assistance connections to this computer, and then click OK.

  1. Open the Start menu of the local PC, enter mstsc in the search box, and then press Enter. Then, connect to the cloud host as instructed.
