Configure a border gateway for a router

  • A router can have only one border gateway.

  • SNAT is enabled by default. You can manually disable SNAT as needed. After you disable SNAT, cloud hosts use their real IP addresses to access the external network. Make sure the border switch has forwarding routes corresponding to the real IP addresses.

  1. On UIS Cloud, click Cloud Services on the top navigation bar.

  1. On the UIS-Sec portal of UIS Manager Standard Edition, click Network Services on the top navigation bar.

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Network & Security > Routers.

  1. Click the  icon in the Actions column for a router, and then select Set External Gateway.

  1. Click the  icon in the Actions column for a public IP address pool.

Then, the system randomly assigns an IP address from the public IP address pool to the border gateway.
