After you create a VOI desktop pool, you can use the desktop pool to deploy desktops and specify users that can use the deployed desktops.
From the navigation pane, select Desktop Pools & Groups > Desktop Pools.
Select a VOI desktop pool, and then click Select VOI Clients.
In the dialog box that opens, select the VOI clients to be added, and then click OK.
If you create a VOI desktop pool for single-user or multi-user authorization, you must bind each VOI client with one user account or authorize users to share the clients in the desktop pool, respectively.
If you create the desktop pool for anonymous users, you do not need to configure authorization. Any users can log in to the VOI clients in the pool to access desktop services without providing a username and password.
Perform this task to bind each VOI client in a VOI desktop pool to one user if that pool uses single-user authorization.
From the navigation pane, select Desktop Pools & Groups > Desktop Pools.
Select the target desktop pool, and then click in the Authorized User Login Name column for a client.
In the dialog box that opens, select a user and an authorization policy, and then click OK.
Perform this task to authorize selected users or user groups to share the clients in a VOI desktop pool for desktop services if that pool uses multi-user authorization. When an authorized user logs in to an idle VOI client, the system automatically binds the user with that client.
From the navigation pane, select Desktop Pools & Groups > Desktop Pools.
Select the target VOI desktop pool, and then click Users on top of the client list.
In the dialog box that opens, select users and user groups to authorize.
To select users, click Select Users. In the dialog box that opens, select users and their respective authorization policies, and then click OK.
