After you create an IDV desktop pool, you can deploy desktops in the desktop pool and authorize users to use the desktops deployed in the pool.
From the navigation pane, select Desktop Pools & Groups > Desktop Pools.
Select an IDV desktop pool and then click Select IDV Clients.
In the dialog box that opens, select the IDV clients to be added, and then click OK.
If you create an IDV desktop pool for single-user or multi-user authorization, you must bind each IDV client with one user account or authorize users to share the desktops in the desktop pool, respectively.
If you create the desktop pool for anonymous users, you do not need to configure authorization. Any users can log in to the IDV clients in the pool to access desktop services without providing a username and password.
Perform this task to bind each IDV client in an IDV desktop pool to one user if that pool uses single-user (or dedicated user) authorization.
From the navigation pane, select Desktop Pools & Groups > Desktop Pools.
Select the target desktop pool, and then click in the Authorized User Login Name column for a client.
In the dialog box that opens, select a user and an authorization policy, and then click OK.
Perform this task to authorize selected users or user groups to share the desktops in an IDV desktop pool if that pool uses multi-user authorization. The authorized users can use any idle clients in the desktop pool to obtain desktop services.
From the navigation pane, select Desktop Pools & Groups > Desktop Pools.
Select the target IDV desktop pool, and then click Users on top of the client list.
In the dialog box that opens, select users and user groups to authorize.
To select users, click Select Users. In the dialog box that opens, select users and their respective authorization policies, and then click OK.
