The UniCloud cloud disk application is a cloud-based enterprise data application service. Without occupying the local storage space, it can provide personal data storage and sharing services for cloud desktop users to protect data security. It also can be used to create collaborative shared file libraries at the level of enterprise, department, or project. You can manage cloud disk users and files in the cloud disks.
To use the UniCloud cloud disk, ensure the network connectivity between the UniCloud cloud disk middleware and the UniCloud cloud disk. |
Deploy the UniCloud cloud disk middleware on a physical server or on a VM.
The cloud OS of the UniCloud cloud disk obtains user information from the Workspace Space Console to allocate cloud disk spaces automatically.
Users use a UniCloud cloud disk client to log in to the cloud disk, where they can share or manage files.
After the UniCloud cloud disk is deployed, the cloud disk service state is Deployed. In this state, you can open the UniCloud cloud disk management page from Space Console to manage the UniCloud cloud disk users, departments, and storage spaces. |
Before you perform this task, make sure the server of Space Console and the server of https://unidisk.unicloud.com can communicate with each other.
To open the UniCloud cloud disk management page:
From the navigation pane, select Applications > UniCloud Cloud Disk.
