Perform this task to enable the system to send SMS notifications for alarms to the users.
For the system to send SMS notifications, you must also configure the SMS parameters. For more information, see "Configure SMS parameters."
From the navigation pane, select System > Alarms > Notifications > SMS.
Set alarm severity levels. Options include Critical, Major, Minor, and Tip.
Click Add Phone Number.
In the dialog box that opens, enter a phone number and click OK.
Click SMS Settings.
In the dialog box that opens, configure the following parameters.
SMS: Set whether to enable SMS notifications.
SMS Type: Select a platform to send the SMS messages. Options include Huawei Message Machine, Mobile Agent Server, Ruicheng Message Platform, Common SMS Platform, and NetsUnion Platform. The Huawei message machine is used by default. To use the Ruicheng message platform, common SMS platform, and NetsUnion platform are third-party platforms. Before using those platforms, you must register and deploy them. For more information, see their corresponding official website. The mobile agent server is the China mobile agent server MAS.
Configure the following parameters if you select Huawei Message Machine as the SMS type:
Login Name: Enter the name to log in to the Huawei message machine.
Login Password: Enter the password to log in to the Huawei message machine.
HTTP Proxy: Set whether to enable HTTP proxy. If you enable HTTP proxy, you need to configure proxy address, proxy port, proxy username, and proxy password.
Configure the following parameters if you select Mobile Agent Server as the SMS type:
IP Address: Enter the IP address of the mobile agent server.
Database Username: Enter the username to access the database of the mobile agent server.
Password: Enter the password to access the database of the mobile agent server.
Login Name: Enter the name to log in to the mobile agent server.
Login Password: Enter the password to log in to the mobile agent server.
Caller ID: Enter the caller ID of the mobile agent server.
Service Code: Enter the service code of the mobile agent server.
Configure the following parameters if you select Ruicheng Message Platform as the SMS type:
IP Address: Enter the IP address of the Ruicheng message platform.
Interface Code: Enter the interface code of the Ruicheng message platform.
Database Username: Enter the username to access the database of the Ruicheng message platform.
Password: Enter the password to access the database of the Ruicheng message platform.
Configure the following parameters if you select Common SMS Platform as the SMS type:
IP Address: Enter the IP address of the common SMS platform.
Login Name: Enter the name to log in to the common SMS platform.
Login Password: Enter the password to log in to the common SMS platform.
HTTP Proxy: Set whether to enable HTTP proxy. If you enable HTTP proxy, you need to configure proxy address, proxy port, proxy username, and proxy password.
Configure the following parameters if you select NetsUnion Platform as the SMS type:
IP Address: Enter the IP address of the NetsUnion platform.
Port: Enter the port to access the NetsUnion platform.
User Serial Number: Enter the user serial number to access the NetsUnion platform.
User Password: Enter the password to access the NetsUnion platform.
Click Save.
Click SMS Test to verify the SMS notification settings.
Click Save.
Click the Indicators tab to select alarm thresholds and alarm sources.
Alarm Thresholds: Select the types of alarms to be monitored. Options include All and Selected. The default value is All.
Alarm Sources: Select the hosts and VMs to be monitored.
Click Save.
From the navigation pane, select System > Alarms > Notifications > SMS.
Perform either of the following tasks:
Click Remove All above the configured phone number list.
