Perform this task to request a license through the license server. After that, you can view, expand, and release the license.
On the top navigation bar, click System.
From the left navigation pane, select Licenses.
Click License Server Licensing.
Configure the parameters as described in "Parameters."

Click Request/Release Licenses.
Configure the parameters as described in "Parameters."
On the top navigation bar, click System.
From the left navigation pane, select Licenses.
The page that opens displays detailed license information.
Basic Info
License Server IP: Specify the IP address of the license server.
License Server Port: Specify the port number of the license server.
Client Name: Specify the name of the CVM system on the license server.
Client Password: Specify the password of the CVM system on the license server.
CPU Licensing
Manageable CPUs: Number of physical CPUs that CVM can manage.
Managed CPUs: Number of physical CPUs that are managed by CVM.
Edition: License edition.
Available CPUs: Number of physical CPUs that the license server can grant.
Assigned CPUs: Number of physical CPUs that the license server has granted to the CVM system.
Actions: Select whether to expand or release the license.
CPUs: Specify the number of physical CPUs that you want to request or release.
VM Licensing
Protectable VMs: Number of VMs that CVM can protect.
Available VMs: Number of VMs that the license server can grant.
Assigned VMs: Number of VMs that the license server has granted to the CVM system.
Actions: Select whether to expand or release the license.
VMs: Specify the number of VMs that you want to request or release.
License Details
License Code: License keys.
Type: Whether the license is formal or temporary.
