Port splitting and compatibility with transceivers and cables

This document describes port splitting and compatibility with transceiver modules and cables on some interface modules.

Ports 17, 20, 27, and 30 do not support 40G transceivers or cables.

The other ports support 40G transceivers or cables.

Splitting one port will cause another port to be unusable. For the affected ports, see Table 4.

·     72 × 100G ports mode: All the 72 ports are used as 100G ports.

·     18 × 200G ports + 36 x 100G ports mode: Ports 1 to 36 are used as 100G ports, ports 55 to 72 are used as 200G ports, and the other ports are not usable.
