FCoE Configuration Guide

Describes Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) fundamentals and configuration. In an FCoE solution, the server uses an FCoE-capable Ethernet adapter. The FCoE switch (FCoE forwarder) integrates the functions of both the traditional IP switch and the FC switch. The FCoE solution reduces the number of network adapters, switches, and cables, and reduces the network operation and maintenance workload.

TRILL Configuration Guide

OpenFLow Configuration Guide

Describes OpenFlow fundamentals and configuration, including OpenFlow instance, controllers for an OpenFlow switch, OpenFlow timers, and dynamic MAC address support. OpenFlow separates the data forwarding and routing decision functions. A controller makes routing decisions and assigns flow table entries to an OpenFlow switch. An OpenFlow switch matches and forwards packets by using the flow table entries obtained from a controller.
