Key features
High performance and scalability
Based on the 40G hardware platform, the CMPE card delivers the following benefits:
· Flexible and efficient service scalability.
· High-performance service processing and forwarding capability.
Dual forwarding engines
The CMPE card uses the ASIC-based and NP-based forwarding engines to improve forwarding performance and QoS scheduling efficiency.
Distributed OAM engine
The distributed OAM engine improves BFD efficiency, simplifies CMPE card architecture, and enhances OAM system performance.
200 ms of packet buffering
The card can provide 200 ms of packet buffering, which enables 100% egress bandwidth usage and improves network performance.
Removable interface cards
Interface cards are not fixed on the base card but removable from the base card. You can install different interface cards on the base card to adapt to different configuration requirements, which protects user investment.
Subcard hot swapping
The base card supports hot swapping of subcards. Installing and removing a subcard on an operating router do not affect ongoing services on other subcards.
Distributed NAT
With support for distributed NAT architecture, twice NAT, and multiple-instance NAT instances, the cards can share NAT loads to improve NAT performance.
Distributed NetStream
With distributed NetStream performed on each card, the card can greatly improve statistical analysis efficiency. In addition, it offers packet filtering, packet sampling, statistics aggregation, and statistics export to improve processing efficiency.
Distributed NAT-PT
The distributed NAT-PT architecture allows CMPE cards to share NAT-PT loads to improve NAT-PT performance.
TDM simulation
The CMPE card uses TDM to transmit multiple signals or data streams on one link.
