VAN Fabric Manager
The term virtual application network (VAN) originates from H3C VAN solutions and means virtualization, automation, and SDN. VFM can manage FCoE networks as well as TRILL, SPB, and EVI networks that use virtual tunnels.
VFM realizes unified management of LANs and SANs. It provides data centers with solutions for LAN and SAN integration over WAN. You can manage the integrated networks of a data center by using H3C network devices. VFM depends on VNM to obtain VM migration information.
VFM is developed based on Intelligent Management Center (iMC). Using the browser/server model, VFM enables an administrator to manage and view the integrated networks of a data center by a browser and spares the need for a client.
