Perform this task to view the applications, processes, and services running on a VM, and view information about each process, such as username, process ID, process name, CPU usage, and memory usage.
Make sure the VM is in running state.
Make sure the VM has an OS and CAStools installed, and the OS is compatible with CAStools.
During an online VM migration, the CPU usage and memory usage of the VM might be incorrect.
On the top navigation bar, click VMs. If multiple clusters exist in the system, you must also select a cluster from the left navigation pane.
Select a VM, and then click the Service and Process Monitoring tab.
To view the most recent process information, click Refresh.
Username: Username of the system where the process is running.
PID: Process ID, which uniquely identifies the process in the system.
Process Name: Name of the application, process, or service.
CPU Usage: VM CPU usage of the process.
Memory Usage: VM memory usage of the process.
