Edit a VM

Perform this task to reconfigure the VM with software and hardware options.

Restrictions and guidelines

Procedure

  1. On the top navigation bar, click VMs. If multiple clusters exist in the system, you must also select a cluster from the left navigation pane.

  1. Select a VM, click More in the VM card, and then select Edit. Alternatively, select the VM in the navigation pane, and then click Edit on the Summary tab.

  1. From the menu, select a VM task as needed. Each time you finish editing a category of settings, click Apply to save the changes.

  1. To add hardware options (for example, storage, NIC, USB, and PCI devices), click Add Hardware. To delete unused hardware options, click Delete Hardware.

VMs on an ARM host support only the storage, network, input, console, audio card, and graphics card options.
