Zombie VMs are VMs that persist in idle and down state for a long time.
Start or delete these VMs as needed to avoid virtualization sprawl and improve efficient use of resources.
On the top right of the page, click Hot Key, and then select Zombie VMs.
In the dialog box that opens, click OK.
On the top right of the page, click Hot Key, and then select Zombie VMs.
Select multiple VMs, click Batch Actions, and then select Start.
In the dialog box that opens, click OK.
On the top right of the page, click Hot Key, and then select Zombie VMs.
In the dialog box that opens, select a method to delete the VM.
To temporarily remove the VM so the VM can be restored later, select Move to Recycle Bin, and then click OK. To delete the VM without deleting its data storage file, select Keep Data Files, and then click OK.
To delete the VM including its data storage file, select Delete Data Files or Low-Level Format and Delete Data Storage File, and then click OK. In the dialog box that opens, click OK. In the dialog box that opens, enter DELETE (case sensitive), and then click OK.
On the top right of the page, click Hot Key, and then select Zombie VMs.
Select multiple VMs, click Batch Actions, and then select Delete.
In the dialog box that opens, select a method to delete the VM.
To temporarily remove the VM so the VM can be restored later, select Move to Recycle Bin, and then click OK. To delete the VM without deleting its data storage file, select Retain Data File, and then click OK.
