Endpoint logs

The endpoint logs record the operations performed by the user on the endpoint. Perform this task to view, regularly clear, delete, or download endpoint logs.

View endpoint logs

  1. From the navigation pane, select System > Logs > System Logs > Endpoint Logs.

  1. Click a log file to view the detailed endpoint log information.

Clear endpoint logs on schedule

Perform this task to clear endpoint logs exceeding the retention period on schedule. By default, the endpoint logs are cleared at 2:00 am.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, select System > Logs > System Logs > Endpoint Logs.

  1. Click Clear on Schedule above the endpoint log list.

  1. In the dialog box that opens, set the retention period for logs. The value range for the retention period is 0 to 30 days. The default value is 7. If you use 0 as the retention period, the logs are cleared in the current day.

  1. Click OK.

Delete an endpoint log

  1. From the navigation pane, select System > Logs > System Logs > Endpoint Logs.

  1. Perform either of the following tasks:

  1. In the dialog box that opens, click OK.

Download an endpoint log

  1. From the navigation pane, select System > Logs > System Logs > Endpoint Logs.

  1. Click Download in the Actions column for the target endpoint log.
