After connecting to an LDAP server, the system will synchronize LDAP user information with the LDAP server. To use an LDAP user in the system, you must add the user to an organization of the system and assign a role to the user.
When creating LDAP users on an LDAP server using a Windows operating system, do not select Must change password on first login. |
On the top navigation bar, click System.
From the left navigation pane, select Access Control > User > LDAP User.
Select an LDAP domain.
To use an LDAP user in the system, you must add the user to an organization of the system and assign a role to the user.
A user can be added to multiple organizations with different roles as needed. The user's resources are created, counted, and displayed based on the organization it is assigned to.
If an LDAP user is not configured with an email address, the user cannot be added to an organization. |

Select the LDAP users to be added to the system, and then click Join Organization.
