Upload an OS image
As a best practice, upload the ISO image file of an operating system to the shared storage pool. When creating a VM on any host that has mounted the shared storage pool, operators can use the image file to install the operating system for the VM. If the ISO image file is uploaded to a storage pool of the Local File Directory type (such as defaultpool or isopool), only the VM on this host can use the ISO image file to install the operating system.
On the top navigation bar, click Hosts.
Select the target host.

Click the Storage tab.
Select the target storage pool, and then click Upload File.
