Japan, 28 June 2007 H3C Technologies Japan announces that its newly launched product “H3C MSR50-60” are deployed in Shownet and wins the “Best of Show Award” Grand Prize for the category of ShowNet at the Interop Tokyo 2007 in Makuhari Messe, Japan, after a strict examination by IT industry experts and a vote by show visitors.

Interop Tokyo 2007 built a “ShowNet” network in the exhibition hall and conference hall. It is the largest indoor exhibition network to demonstrate network devices and technologies from leading vendors, and the actual operation of near-future service architecture.
The above network is created by interconnecting a variety of devices and services presented by the participants in the Interop. The interconnection test symbolizes “ShowNet” as the name of Interop which is derived from “InterOperability.” It uses S9505 as a backbone switch and four MSR50-60s as backup routers in the entire ShowNet. H3C’s MSR50-60s successfully deliver their high functionality and interoperability with other vendors' devices.

This Grand Prize-winning “H3C MSR50-60” is the latest router product developed for multi-service networks. It features excellent performance with a multiple bus structure and complete support for various protocols of IPv4/IPv6 Unicast/Multicast, as well as supporting for MPLS technology and a wide range of coverage from enterprise core routers to carrier-grade edge routers.

In addition, MSR series routers, employing a Linux-based expanded module based on open application architecture, allow detailed customization of functions, pushing back the boundaries of existing network devices.
