1 单板标识
前面板右上角标有丝印:FW8DB,用来标识该单板。
2 单板简介
FW8DB单板上从左到右依次排列有8个1000Base-X接口、Console口、AUX口、3个10/100Base-TX接口和4个状态指示灯(ATTACK、ACT、ALM、RUN)。

3 升级方式
用户可通过以下方式对FW8DB单板进行升级:
(1) 通过Boot菜单本地升级
l 通过Console口利用XModerm协议进行升级
l 通过百兆以太网口Ethernet 3利用TFTP协议进行升级
(2) 通过命令行远程升级
l 通过百兆以太网口(Ethernet 1~Ethernet 3中任意一个)利用FTP协议进行升级
l 通过百兆以太网口(Ethernet 1~Ethernet 3中任意一个)利用TFTP协议进行升级
注意:
FW8DB单板的升级只能在自身的Console口或以太网口下进行,而不能通过S9500主控板。
4 注意事项
如主机软件版本不匹配,请联系该设备的销售商或集成商获取相应的主机软件版本;

1 Card Identifier
The silkscreen FW8DB is printed at the upper right corner of the front panel, and is used to identify the card.
2 Specifications
On the front panel of FW8DB, eight 1000Base-X interfaces, Console port, AUX port, three 10/100Base-TX interfaces, and four status LEDs (ATTACK, ACT, ALM, RUN) are arranged from left to right.

3 Upgrading FW8DB
To upgrade the FW8DB, follow one of the ways:
1) Local upgrade by the Boot menu
l Use the XModem protocol through the Console port
l Use the TFTP protocol through the port Ethernet 3
2) Remote upgrade by the command line
l Use the FTP protocol through the Ethernet port (anyone among the Ethernet 1 through Ethernet 3)
l Use the TFTPP protocol through the Ethernet port (anyone among the Ethernet 1 through Ethernet 3)
Caution:
You can only upgrade the FW8DB through its own Console port or Ethernet port, but not the SRPU.
4 Note
If the host software version does not match the one applicable to the card, contact the vendor or the integrator for the right version.
