Summary

The H3C S7500E Series is the next generation High-end Multi-service Routing switches. The switch can be deployed in multiple network environments like the enterprise LAN core, aggregation and wiring closet edge, as well the convergence and edge of Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs) and Data Centers (DCs).

Built on the Comware V5 operating system for which H3C has the IPR and the second-generation Intelligent Resilient Framework (IRF) virtualization technology, H3C S7500E integrates multiple services such as MPLS VPN, IPv6, network security, wireless, and Passive Optical Network (PON) services. This switch series also supports a board range of high-reliability technologies such as non-stop forwarding, continuous upgrades, graceful restarts, and ring network protection ensuring maximum uptime, improving productivity and reducing the total cost of ownership. In compliance with EU’s Restriction on Hazardous Substances (RoHS), the S7500E routing switches are environmentally friendly.

H3C S7500E series consists of 7 models: S7510E (12 slots), S7506E (8 slots), S7506E-V (vertical 8 slots), S7506E-S (8 slots), S7503E (5 slots), 7503E-S (3 slots), and S7502E (4 slots). All except the 7503E-S support redundant main control.
