The H3C MSR 900 series routers are network-access devices for small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Based on an advanced software structure and hardware platform, these routers provide integrated solutions for corporate networks for minimal investment.   In addition, these routers fully satisfy the diversified application requirements of future service expansions and comply with the current situation and trend of corporate IT construction.

The H3C MSR 900 combines data, security, exchange, and wireless functions (WiFi/3G) together and can conveniently deploy a variety of services to the same node supporting  the trend of increasingly diversified corporate network applications. In this manner, it minimizes the internetworking complexity of multiple devices over networks and greatly lowers the initial investment and long-run maintenance costs of corporate network construction.

The H3C MSR 900 supports both SNMP and TR069 network management functions that allow administrators to operate and manage remote devices conveniently. It also provides graphical web management interfaces for administrators to maintain and configure devices.

The Ethernet switching ports integrated on the H3C MSR 900 support high-speed Layer 2 forwarding functions, thus offering a real solution for routing and switching integration. The H3C MSR 900 also supports wireless WiFi functions that provide companies with wireless LAN access and user authentication services. In addition, it provides wireless 3G communication through CDMA2000, WCDMA, and TD-SCDMA technologies to meet the application requirements by users on the active and backup upstream links over 3G wireless networks.  It also provides strong firewall and VPN functions, including packet filtering firewall, status-based firewall, P2P-based application control, DDoS anti-attack, and IP Sec VPN.

The H3C MSR 900 has two models: MSR 900 and MSR 920.
