The H3C Neocean DL1000 is a new virtual tape library (VTL) device. This highly intelligent disk-based storage appliance emulates a standard tape library or tape drive, and can be seamlessly connected to existing tape backup and recovery environments. The DL1000 provides faster data backup and recovery, and higher reliability than traditional tape systems. It supports need-based distribution (Capacity On Demand), automatic tape buffers, remote replication and other leading storage features. The DL1000 provides users with flexible data backup schemes. It is an important component of H3C’s IToIP solutions.
