H3C Released MSR 30-11 to Address the Needs for Branch Office and SMB Customers

Hong Kong2 August 2007 H3C, the world’s leading IP technology and solution provider, today announced the release of a new model MSR 30-11 to its overseas market, with an enhanced MPLS VPN service and other capabilities including network security, QoS, voice and terminal access, IPv6 etc. Before that, the product has been successfully applied in China domestic market for more than half a year.

MSR 30-11 is engineered to be deployed for branch offices of large enterprises in Finance, Government, Power Industry as well as SMB customers. Based on H3C’s mature Comware V5 software platform, MSR 30-11 can support various features and integrated functions like data security, voice communication, video interaction, and terminal access service into a single device.

MSR 30-11 uses advanced RISC micro-processor chip to ensure high performance and super hardware data encryption capability in case of concurrent services. Meanwhile, it combines the fixed interfaces with flexible slots, which supports two fixed 10/100M FE, 1 fixed synchronous/asynchronous serial ports, two SIC slots and one XMIM slot. According to Fei Yu, the product manager for H3C Mid-to-Low End Routers, “This new product is really simple in configuration and quite flexible in terms of interface density. It inherits the advantages of multi-service routers to integrate various functions, and especially meets the needs of branch office and SMB customers.”
