HongKong, 25 July 2007 — H3C, the world’s leading IP technology and solution provider, today announced the launch of S5500-SI Series Gigabit Ethernet Switches which boast abundant services including IPv6 forwarding and 10GE uplink interfaces.
S5500-SI series is designed as core devices for small enterprise, convergence and access devices for small to medium sized enterprises and Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs) and are ideal for connecting server groups in data centers. S5500-SI series also supports broadband internet access, multimedia services such as VOD as well as delay-sensitive voice services, such as VoIP multicast audio and video services.
