Huawei-3Com officially launched the Quidway ®S3900 Series Switches into Japan on January 28, 2005. Representatives from Japan’s leading system integrators, resellers and IT enterprises attended the launch event to learn more about this revolutionary breakthrough in enterprise networking.
Keynote speakers included Rose Chen, President, International Marketing and Sales, who attended the event from Hangzhou, Huawei-3Com’s headquarters to provide an update on the company’s performance during the past 12 months. Rose Chen also presented company’s overseas market developing strategies. Toshihiro Mishima, Communications Research Manager, IDC who provided insights into key trends in Japan’s enterprise networking market. Fukuyama Eiichi, Networking Specialist of Huawei-3Com presented the new IRF technology and product features of the Quidway庐 S3900 Series Switches and attendees enjoyed a live demonstration of the new switching technology. Huawei-3Com’s major strategic partners in Japan also participated in the seminar and introduced their experience of cooperation with Huawei-3Com.
As the second largest market for IP networking products worldwide, Japan is one of the most important strategic markets for Huawei-3Com. Huawei-3Com commenced operations in Japan in November 2003. During the past year, Huawei-3Com’s products have been widely deployed in more than 200 customers in the Japanese market.
