NEC & H3C Partner to Bring Unified Communications Networks to the Commercial Market in Hong Kong
HongKong, 21 August 2008 — H3C Technologies, one of the world’s leading IP technology and solution providers, today announced a strategic partnership with NEC Hong Kong to meet the rapidly increasing demand from customers for unified communications networks for commercial market in Hong Kong.
The agreement leverages NEC’s leadership position in the Hong Kong telecommunications market, specifically the supply of IP telephony systems and broadband networks to a wide variety of customers, and H3C’s strength in corporate networking solutions including network backbones, wireless solutions and switches.

During the initial phase of the collaboration, H3C will bundle its PoE switches with NEC’s products to deliver a comprehensive telecommunication solution. By cross selling products into key accounts both companies expect to further boost sales and also help customers better address their communication needs.
The initial NEC product packages will bundle NEC’s VoIP products, unified communication and unified messaging solution with H3C’s renowned network switches. “Customers can pay less and get more, and fully enjoy the benefits of unified communication and unified messaging solutions from NEC and H3C,” said Mr. Cheung.
