H3C to donate RMB 1 Million for Earthquake Rescue in Sichuan, China
Beijing, May 13, 2008 ---H3C Technologies, the leading Internet infrastructure solution innovator in China, today announced that it has donated RMB 1 million to China Red Cross Foundation for emergency rescue in Sichuan province in south western China, which was struck by a 7.8-magnitude earthquake about twenty four hours ago.
Apart from corporate initiatives, H3C’s employees are also taking actions to help with the disaster recovery.
“We are deeply concerned about the post-earthquake situation in the Wenchuan area of the Sichuan Province. We are keeping close eyes on the progress of the rescue and we will do our best to help,” said Dr. Shusheng Zheng, Chief Operation Officer, H3C.
H3C is geared to provide assistance for the earthquake rescue through the use of information technology. In addition, a special engineering team will be sent to Sichuan to help restore the communications infrastructure in the affected area.
