Huawei-3Com Participated in the Annual GIA’s Insurance IT Forum in Thailand

The General Insurance Association (GIA) held its Insurance IT Forum during 3-5 November in Thailand to update on Information Technology and celebrate the achievement of the insurance industry. More than 70 executives from 50 insurance companies attended this forum.

Huawei-3Com (H3C) Thailand showcased the product series including switches, routers and voice gateway. Many IT personels showed strong interest in H3C’s products, especially on 10GE switches flagship equipment and Voice over IP product.

During the gala dinner, H3C was awarded by the GIA. The event ended with a pleasant atmsphere that night with H3C and the IT executives celebrating the Thai traditional festival-Loy Kratong.

The GIA was formerly from 3 separate organizations: European Insurance Association, Chinese Insurance Association and Thai Insurance Association. These organizations were then merged together and officially registered as The General Insurance Association on April 6, 1967. Recently, the GIA consists of 70 companies from 72 insurance companies registered in Thailand.
