A recovery plan contains a set of policies for recovering the VMs in a protection group.
CAS can execute a maximum of five storage replication recovery plans simultaneously.
VMs recovered from a storage replication recovery plan do not support deletion, migration, cloning, backup, template conversion, OVF template export, or hardware adding or deletion.
The disk of a VM recovered from a disk backup recovery plan uses the QCOW2 format, and the provisioning mode and cluster size settings of the VM might be different from those of the original VM.
VMs recovered from a disk backup recovery plan do not support deletion, migration, storage volume migration, template creation (conversion, export, and clone), snapshots, clone, backup, restoration, cluster HA, and affinity settings.
To recover VMs by using a recovery plan that has been executed, you must first perform either of the following tasks:
Change the recovered VMs to common VMs.
Use a PE reverse recovery tool to restore the recovered data from the recovery site to the protected site, and then clear the backup data in the recovery site.
