You can view information about MDS nodes, including hostname, IP address, memory usage, CPU usage, and state.
An MDS node can be in one of the following states:
Active—The MDS node is providing services correctly.
Standby—The MDS node operates as a backup for the active MDS node. When the active MDS node fails, the standby MDS node takes over to provide services.
Not Responding—The MDS node is placed in this state if the monitor node has not received a heartbeat response from the MDS node within the required time period.
Stop—The MDS node is in this state in either of the following situations:
An abnormal exit occurred on the MDS process of the node.
The MDS node has been administratively shut down.
Connecting—A standby MDS node is in this state during an active/standby switchover, which might occur when the active MDS node fails or is administratively shut down.
