When you expand a volume, make sure the capacity to be added is calculated based on the service condition, remaining storage pool capacity, and storage pool mode.
The capacity of the volume might be much higher than the capacity to be added. In this situation, volume capacity information on the page might remain unchanged after the expansion, but the added capacity still takes effect.
From the navigation pane, select ONEStor > Block Storage.
Select Volume Management > Volumes.
Select a node pool, a disk pool, and a storage pool.
Click Expand in the Actions column for a storage volume.
Enter the size of capacity to add.
Click OK.
Provisioning Type: Provisioning type of the storage pool, which is the same as the type of the disk pool. Options include:
Thin Provisioning—Allocates storage space to volumes in a flexible on-demand manner. In this mode, volumes share the overall capacity of the disk pool. When you create a volume, you can allocate a capacity larger than the usable capacity of the disk pool.
Thick Provisioning—Allocates a fixed amount of storage space to volumes in anticipation for the current and future storage demands. A thick-provisioned volume occupies the allocated storage space once it is created.
Add: Specify the size of capacity to add for the storage volume.
