Create a system image

Perform this task to upload a system image. Before uploading a system image, make sure the cluster and hosts have been deployed.

 

·          If the upload path is a local directory on a host, only that host can use the system image. ·          If the upload path is a shared path, all hosts can use the system image.

 

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, select Data Center > System Images.

2. Click Create.

3. Configure related parameters, and drag the target file to the box or click Upload to select the file to be uploaded.

4. Click OK after the upload is completed.

Parameters

• Upload To: Destination path for the image to be uploaded.

• OS: Operating system version of the image. The specified operating system type and version must be the same as the operating system type and version of the image to be uploaded.
