From the navigation pane, select Images > Image Pools.
Click Create.
In the dialog box that opens, configure related information and click OK.
Target Path: Local directory mount point, such as /vms/xxxx. The mount point of a local file directory or local synchronization partition must start with /vms/. Other types of mount points cannot start with /vms/.
Type: Select the storage pool type for the image pool. Available values include Local File Directory, iSCSI Shared Directory, FC Shared Directory, and Network File System (not supported on ARM hosts in the current software version).
When you select the Local File Directory type, enter the target path.
Target Path: Local directory mount point, such as /vms/xxxx. The mount point of a local file directory must start with /vms/. Other types of mount points cannot start with /vms/.
When you select the iSCSI Shared Directory type, enter the target path and IP address, and select a LUN.
Target Path: Local directory mount point.
IP Address: IP address of the iSCSI shared directory.
LUN: LUN for the iSCSI shared directory.
When you select the FC Shared Directory type, enter the target path and select an NAA.
Target Path: Local directory mount point.
NAA: NAA for the FC shared directory.
When you select the Network File System type, enter the target path, source host IP, and source path. ARM hosts do not support the Network File System type in the current software version.
Target Path: Local directory mount point.
Source Host IP: IP address of the source server.
Source Path: Path of the file system on the source server.
From the navigation pane, select Images > Image Pools.
Click Delete in the Actions column for the image pool to be deleted.
Click OK in the confirmation dialog box that opens.
From the navigation pane, select Images > Image Pools.
Click More in the Actions column for the image pool to be viewed, and select View Details.
View details of the image pool.
This feature is supported only when the image pool type is iSCSI or FC shared directory.
To enable an image pool:
From the navigation pane, select Images > Image Pools.
Click More in the Actions column for the image pool to be enabled, and select Enable Image Pool.
In the confirmation dialog box that opens, click OK.
This feature is supported only when the image pool type is iSCSI or FC shared directory.
To disable an image pool:
From the navigation pane, select Images > Image Pools.
Click More in the Actions column for the image pool to be disabled, and select Disable Image Pool.
In the confirmation dialog box that opens, click OK.
The desktop images completely built on the IDV and VOI endpoints will be automatically uploaded to the selected upload directory for endpoint images.
To select the upload directory for endpoint images:
From the navigation pane, select Images > Image Pools.
