Perform this task to configure the password complexity and password validity period. The password policy takes effect on all operators. The password policy defines the minimum length, complexity requirement, and validity period of the passwords.
Modifications to the password policy immediately take effect on operators going to register on CVM and take effect on registered operators after their passwords expire.
From the left navigation pane, select Security > Password Policy.
Enter the minimum password length, select a complexity requirement, and specify the validity period.
Click Save.
Min Length: Specify the minimum password length.
Complexity: Select a password complexity requirement. Options include Not limited, Contain letters and numbers, Contain special characters, Contain letters, numbers, and special characters, and Contain uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Validity Period: Specify the password validity period.
