ARM hosts do not support Intel AEP configuration. |
You can view and initialize Intel AEP memory after you install the memory on a host. After the initialization, the system can configure the Intel AEP memory as a block device and mount the block device to the host as a local file directory (high speed) storage pool. For more information, see "Manage storage pools."
Sockets that have been mounted to storage pools cannot be initialized.
After socket initialization, you must restart the host to make the configuration effective.
When all physical devices are effective, there might also be a 5% offset between the socket size and the total capacity of all physical devices because of alignment issues.
From the left navigation pane, select Resources > Host Pool Name > Cluster Name > Host Name or Resources > Host Pool Name > Host Name.
Click the Advanced tab.
Click the Intel AEP Settings tab.
Select one or multiple sockets, and then click Initialize.
