The network topology displays the connection relationships between vSwitches and VMs as well as the network policy and traffic monitoring information of the ports that connect the vNICs to the virtual switch.
From the left navigation pane, select Topologies > Network.

Select
: In this mode, you can select and drag the icons in the topology. The mouse is in this mode by default.
Drag
: In this mode, you can drag the topology to view the area that is not displayed when the window cannot display the whole topology.
Export Image
:: Convert the topology to a picture. To save the picture, right-click the picture, and select Save Picture As.
Search: Select this option to display the search box on the top right of the page.
Aerial View: Select this option to display the thumbnail of the topology on the bottom right of the page.
Virtual switch: To view detailed information about a virtual switch, click the virtual switch icon. To view summary information about the virtual switch on the virtual switch management page for the attached host, double-click the virtual switch icon.
NIC: Double-click the NIC icon and click the Physical NICs tab on the summary page for the attached host.
VM Name: Alias of the VM.
Port Name: Name of the port that connects the virtual switch to the VM.
MAC: MAC address of the VM.
VLAN: ID of the VLAN to which the VM’s NIC belongs.
IP: IP address of the VM.
Rx Packets: Number of packets that are received by the vPort.
Rx Bytes: Number of bytes that are received by the vPort.
Tx Packets: Number of packets that are sent by the vPort.
