Perform this task to restore a VM to a state at a specific time by specifying a backup file.
Make sure the VM to restore is in shutdown state.
The duration of VM restoration depends on the size of the VM backup file. The larger the file, the longer it takes to restore a VM.
If you use a backup file on a remote server to restore a VM configured with CPU bindings, and the number of CPU cores on the host to which the VM is attached is fewer than the number of CPU cores bound to the VM, the CPU bindings are lost after VM restoration.
On the top navigation bar, click VMs.
Select a VM, and then click the Backup Management tab.
Storage Path: Storage path of disk backups. This parameter is available only when the backup type is disk backup.
