In the information era, technologies are changing rapidly, which brings about the talent requirements that change rapidly too. This makes the smart classroom a necessity. With the release of the Action Plan for the Education Informationization 2.0, 40 Items of Higher Education, and the “Double First-Class” Initiative, the smart classroom has greater advantages on the class platform, new curriculum design with excellent resources, and other respects. Explorer: builds the integrated smart classroom through innovation

The smart classroom is a systematic project that any change may have a ripple effect on, so its reform is more than the renovation of the physical environment. Three major difficulties impede the construction of smart classrooms: insufficient unified management and O&M of multiple devices, lack of innovative teaching content caused by dispersed resources, and no access to ubiquitous learning caused by lack of a designated social app. H3C Group is the first to propose the theory of integrating "physical, resource, and social contact" spaces, building a ubiquitous smart teaching environment that is both online and offline, in and out of class.

During the process of constructing a smart classroom integrating teaching management and evaluation, the smart classroom solution of H3C Group follows the standard system of the "Three Ones" Project, boasting three highlights. They are a platform for resource space, a desktop for physical space, and an account for social space. The Xuetang cloud platform is constructed by bringing in Rain Classroom and XuetangX and integrating resources of campus-based live streaming and recorded broadcast. In this way, teachers and students can access the platform to share resources anytime and anywhere, breaking down the resource barrier and boosting ubiquitous learning. The cloud desktop technology is applied in various scenarios including teachers' offices, meetings, and classrooms, achieving desktop roaming with accessible resources, preventing the hard disk from virus attack, and ensuring the terminal is secure and manageable. The application of WeCom covers teaching and learning, classroom management, and equipment management, providing teachers and students with innovative apps and meeting the demands of various service scenarios.

For promoting the high-quality development of the Education Informationization 2.0, H3C’s smart classroom solution has always taken built-in advantages and plays a guiding role. Many classic practices are implemented in major colleges, universities, as well as primary and secondary schools across China and bring the smart application of the Education Informationization 2.0 to numerous smart classrooms.

Wuhan University, Central China Normal University (CCNU), and other key universities are involved in the classic practices of smart classrooms. Taking the smart classroom of CCNU as an example, H3C has built 88 smart classrooms covering more than 32,000 teachers and students with over 5,700 excellent courses, achieving blending teaching, making classroom teaching more efficient and effective, and promoting the reform and innovation of classroom teaching. As the result of “The Exploration and Practice of Higher Education Talent Training Mode with Deep Integration of Information Technology” in 2018, CCNU was awarded the First Prize for National Teaching Achievements in Higher Education.
