Thanks to the mobile Internet trends and the rapid spread of smart devices, WLAN maintains a high growth in recent 10 years. New H3C, as a leader of integrated solutions for mobile networks, launched WLAN in 2008 and has continuously maintained its number one position in the enterprise market for 9 years in China. According to the IDC report, nearly 6 million WLAN products (AP) were shipped up to Jan, 2018.

The New H3C’s research team for WLAN officially formed in 2000 and began to publish the industry's first Gigabit Wireless Controller WX6100, launching the first enterprise-class 802.11n WA2600 in 2008. New H3C has constantly sought to enrich and improve the latest wireless solutions with indoor installation and distribution and 802.11ac integrated outdoor base station. By the end of 2016, New H3C has applied for more than 750 patents of WLAN technology and R&D investment is about $30M per year.

In addition, New H3C is the only company participating in standardizing IETF: RFC5833 and RFC5834. There are two RFC (Request for Comments), both recognized by MIB, will further improve the wireless network standards and promote the development of WLAN applications. This is another milestone for New H3C in the field of WLAN, showing New H3C’s efforts and achievements in driving the standardization of WLAN both locally and globally.

New H3C has always followed the philosophy of "Quality-focused, IntelliSense" for product development to maintain all types of users connected worldwide for technical exchange and collaboration. New H3C has presented dozens of innovative wireless solutions called "Cloud interconnection", which have been successfully deployed in the National Theatre, the National Library, the National Stadium, Beijing Capital International Airport, University of Hong Kong, Tsinghua University and more. New H3C is working with local governments and operators in order to build more than 80 wireless cities, including Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou, etc. Based on the professional maintenance platform and open API system, New H3C hopes to create a whole win-win ecosphere with global partners and customers.
